I sculpted this T-Rex skeleton for Makerbot (in 2013).
It was one of the hardest projects I have ever worked on.
There were so many factors to take into the equation:
-All parts needed to be printed in FDM printers without the use of supports.
-The assembly had to be possible without the use of glue, resorting to clipping.
-The T-Rex had to be in a dynamic pose (naturally unbalanced)
-The weight distribution had to guarantee it would be stable.
-The skeleton had to be as anatomically correct as possible.
But in the end I managed to do it!
On the images you can see a cool photo of Makerbot Engineers holding a huge print of this model :)
